Hotel Alicante Golf

Excellent hotel with amenities like a lovely pool, good restaurant, and 24-hour reception. The staff provided a helpful wake-up call during my first stay, which I still remember. I'm coming back for Christmas.

Value for money

The description stated 20 minute walk to Alicanti (which we assumed was the city centre). In fact walking to Alicanti was not an option, although there is a regular tram service which takes around 35 minutes. The walk to the beach and restaurants was also around 20 minutes each way.

A fabulous Spanish hotel .... Very few English people, so a real Spanish experience. Hotel is lovely with lots of facilities and a beautiful pool and gardens. Room clean an comfortable with a huge balcony and views over the grounds. In a fairly remote location but a few bars and restaurants and walking distance to an amazing beach. Tram runs right past hotel if you wanted to travel further afield. We didn't bother. Will definitely return to the Husa Alicante.

Incredible, stunning location in Alicante, just off the centre of town, restaurants and green areas and gardens/ golf course. Also, easy to get to tram stop.

Spacious smart and well located. 5 mins from beach in taxi, 3€, tram back 1.15€, taxi to Alicante 10€ or you could take choice of 2 trams. Beach is fabulous, best I've seen, wide and clean white sand, Alicante a buzz of activity. Going back to same hotel in August, that is recommendation enough.

Early in season so very quiet, no-one eats in the hotel, great restaurants in Alicante and close by. Don't pre-book breakfast, cafe's close by will offer better coffee and nibbles in the sun, otherwise you are stuck in a soul-less large dining room with no ability to sit outside.

The outdoor pool was closed and locked as we went in November and it is winter in Spain! When we went to the beautiful 24mile beach everything was closed there too! However thr hotel provided towels for the beach and the taxi rank is outside the hotel door so taxis were easy and good value. The spa access seemed a bit misleading as it appeared that the spa was availible for all guests to use!

A well-kept hotel with a lovely pool area and spacious rooms with great air conditioning. The breakfast was tasty with excellent coffee but mostly continental. While dining and nightlife options are limited nearby, a tram ride can take you to more extensive choices. Ideal for those seeking a relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle.

A huge variety of good hot breakfast items to choose from. Beautifully designed room with a large bathroom and a work desk and TV. Location so close to gardens/ golf course, beach and center of town and a tram line.

Rooms feel outdated and need a thorough refresh!!! Presence of unpleasant odors in certain areas is certainly off-putting!!! Overall upkeep, especially in common spaces, could really benefit from more consistent attention!!!

Great for the golf! If you are looking for a quiet place to stay in October this is it.

The carpets need a good clean. You need a car as there is not much going on around the hotel at this time of year. The outdoor pool was used by ducks!

I specially enjoyed the members of the staff, they were outstanding

The reception staff were helpful and cute. I enjoyed great views from my room. The location provided easy access to a beach nearby, perfect for a relaxing day under the Mediterranean sun with my partner.

The hotel has a noticeable smell, and the common areas and rooms feel worn out. A mosquito net would have been useful for the balcony door, and breakfast options were repetitive and of low quality.

Very clean, friendly staff, very good food, close to beach, beautiful pool and golf course and very well kept hotel.

I honestly did not dislike anything about this hotel. I would highly recommend it.
